Beef may be purchased at Hurst Ranch, Tuolumne Certified Farmers Market in Tuolumne on Wednesdays from 4pm starting in June, at and Sonora Certified Farmers Market on Saturday mornings beginning in May.

Now you can purchase beef born here, in Tuolumne County, raised on the good green grass of home, and then fed the best grain possible in a free-range pasture.  In addition, our beef is not fed any antibiotics or added hormones.  Steaks, roasts, ground beef, filets, etc. - all individually packaged.

Table Mountain Beef came into being when two local cattlewomen found a way to see their product through to the table.  They have raised good calves for 20 years-but the only way they had to market them was through a sales-yard in the Valley, seeing them disappear into the big feedlots of the Midwest. Now these women have found a USDA facility that allows them to bring their beef home, and sell an excellent, wholesome product to you.

Our beef is available at Hurst Ranch - just south of Jamestown (after you pass Belle Mooney Road - take the first left- about 200 yards down Hwy 108).  You can call us ahead of time.  We will try to put your order together for pick-up the next day.  Call 209-984-0171. Bring a cooler to take your order home.  The best way to defrost your beef is to put the sealed package in a sink full of cold water for about 30 minutes.

 Also, we realized this year that people were used to using WAAAY too much BBQ sauce in their quest to make their beef taste better - but our beef doesn't need all that sauce.  So, we came up with our own savory salt that enhances the taste of beef but does not smother it.  It's also great on chicken, pasta, and even other people's beef!
